Prospects for medium rains in some districts in Tamil Nadu!

Due to the southwest monsoon rainy season in progress, there have been heavy rains in several districts in the State of Tamil Nadu including Chennai District.
In this situation, the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for heavy rains with thunder in a few places in the districts of Nilgiri and Coimbatore.
There are prospects for mild to medium rains with lightning and thunder today (Tuesday, 20th July) in a few places in the districts of Theni, Dindigul, and Thenkasi which are located adjacent to the Western Ghat Mountain range.
A dry climate will prevail in other districts.
There are prospects for heavy rain tomorrow (Wednesday, 21st July) in a few places in the districts of Nilgiri and Coimbatore. In other districts adjacent to the Western Ghat mountain range Theni, Dindigul, and Thenkasi, there are prospects for mild to medium rains in a few places.
There are prospects for mild rains in the coastal districts.
As regards the Chennai Metro City, the sky will remain partly cloudy for the next 24 hours. There are prospects for mild rain in a few places in the city. The maximum temperature will be 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 27 Degrees Celsius as informed b7y the Chennai Meteorological Centre.
