Shankar’s Telugu Film Update

Live Chennai earlier reported the news that director Shankar will be taking up a quick assignment to finish a movie in Telugu with ‘Magadheera’ star Ram Charan. There’s an interesting update.
Going by reports from close circles it is learned that Shankar who took a break from ‘Indian 2’ has opted for a story written by director Karthik Subbaraj for his Telugu movie. Karthik Subbaraj has been credited as the writer for his acclaimed movies like ‘Pizza’, ‘Iraivi’, etc. It’s going to be interesting as to what genre the story belongs to.
Another update from the Shankar directorial is that ace music composer Thaman will be composing the music. This will be the first time Thaman will be joining hands with Shankar who has always tied up with Rahman mostly and with Harris Jayaraj. You can’t forget Thaman as an actor in the director’s youthful entertainer ‘Boys’! Quick cue: He was the drummer in the band which Siddarth forms with his friends!
Considering Shankar and his opulent production standards, you can very well assume the movie is going to be released even in Tamil!
