Siva Yogi Babu Movie by Kannan is remake of a Classic

Only a week back we reported that Mirchi Siva and Yogi Babu are coming together in director Kannan’s next. And the story is a remake of a classic.
Many of our readers would have not even be born or perhaps newborn babies when this classic was made. Kannan is going to make the remake of the epic comedy “Kasethan Kadavulada”. The original had Muthuraman, Thenga Srinivasan, Manorama, etc which was made back in the day in 1972.
Director Kannan is known for straight-schedule shoots. He plans to complete this movie in a straight schedule of 35 days which will commence on July 15. The movie is produced by Masala Pix and MKRP productions.
Remakes are not new to Siva who acted in the remake of “Thillu Mullu”. Known for his timing, his combination with Yogi Babu will definitely make tummies ache. We hear that the role of Manorama is going to be reprised by senior actress Urvasi.
