Sivakarthikeyan Multi-Crore Deal

There is a heavy buzz in the industry that Sivakarthikeyan has signed a whopping 75 Crore Deal with Sun Pictures.
His next movie awaiting release is “Doctor” which is produced by himself under his banner Sivakarthikeyan Productions along with KJR Studios. Reports have it that KJR Studios has sold the Satellite rights to Sun TV and OTT rights to Disney+ Hotstar. Negotiations are on for Disney to buy the satellite rights as well.
A few of his previous projects like “Remo”, “Velaikaran” and “Seema Raja” were all produced by R.D Raja of 24AM Studios. Reports have it that Sivakarthikeyan was also one of the producers of the movies and there were some losses from Velaikaran and Seema Raja. There is some money due to financiers who helped in these projects.
To settle all such dues, Sun Pictures seem to have offered him a 5-movie deal which according to industry sources is priced at 75 Crores. Reports say these movies will be shot in a span of 2 years.
Sivakarthikeyan has had organic growth. From humble beginnings on television to acting in big-budget movies, he is a minimum-guarantee star. He has produced some good movies like “Kanaa”, etc. He is currently waiting to resume shooting for “Don”, “Ayalaan”, and “Poovellam Kettupar”.
