The officials of the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) have announced that Chennai Metro City STANDS FIRST among the major cities in India WITH THE MAXIMUM VACCINES ADMINISTERED!
With the maximum efforts being taken to vaccinate the maximum number of citizens, vaccination is in progress in full swing throughout the country as the most immediate preventive measure to check/prevent the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic!
In this situation, once the New Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC), Sugan Deep Singh has assumed office, the task of vaccination of the maximum citizens has been expedited!
IT IS ALSO WORTH NOTING HERE THAT SPECIAL VACCINATION CAMPS HAVE BEEN SET UP IN SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN THE CHENNAI METRO CITY AND THE PUBLIC AS WELL HAS BEEN RESPONDING WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM TO GET VACCINATION ADMINISTERED!
In this scenario, GCC has announced that among the major cities in India, only Chennai has the proud record that 55% of the citizens above 45 years of age have been administered with the vaccine! This figure of 55% is MUCH HIGHER AS COMPARED TO OTHER CITIES!
Following this, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced this enthusiastic progress will be extended to other areas of the State of Tamil Nadu to ensure that maximum number of vaccinations are administered thus paving the way for total prevention/protection against the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic!
