Posted on: 11/May/2021 9:12:14 AM
It has been confirmed by some weather experts that the maximum temperature in the coastal districts of TN would increase by 2 degrees Celsius to 3 degree Celsius in the next 2 days. This could be because of the movement of the wind from the northeast.

The relative humidity or RH would be high in the coastal districts and it is said that these would make the perceived maximum temperature to be higher by 4 to 5 degree Celsius.

According to a release from RMC Chennai, from 11th May to 13th May 2021the prevailing maximum temperature in the coastal and adjoining inner districts would increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. This would be due to the possibility of gusts from west to northwest. The RH or relative humidity is expected to be between 50% and 90% and the perceived temperature in the coastal and in the adjoining districts would be higher by 4 to 5 degrees Celsius.

It has been revealed that in the next 2 days the skies would be partly cloudy in Chennai. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 28 degrees Celsius. Till 14th May 2021, coastal warning was issued for the fishermen. The release also brought out about the low pressure area that would be formed in south eastern Arabian Sea and Maldives on 14th May. This could be due to the atmospheric air circulation up to 3.1km in the central southern Arabian Sea and the adjoining Indian Ocean.
