Greatly welcome news for devotees: Allowed to attend the divine Goddess Meenakshi Amman marriage!

It has been announced that the devotees WILL BE PERMITTED TO ATTEND THE DIVINE MARRIAGE of Goddess Meenakshi Amman (only) from 9.30 AM until 2.30 PM on that day (24th April)!
The Temple Administration has organised and arranged the live telecast online for the devotees to watch.
The Divine Marriage of Goddess Meenakshi Amman with Lord Sundareswarar will be performed from 8.30 AM to 9.30 AM.
The 12-days long festival, celebrated every year with great devotion and enthusiasm unfailingly, will start this year (2021) on 15th April with the Divine Flag-Hoisting ceremony! The festival is scheduled to conclude on 26th April.
Due to the resurgent coronavirus pandemic, the divine flag-hoisting ceremony is to be performed at the Temple Complex today (Tuesday, 13th April).
The temple administration has released the complete details regarding the timings when the devotees will be allowed on each of the festival days.
It may be recalled that last year, due to the raging coronavirus pandemic, the entire 14-days long festival was performed and watched by the devotees ONLY ONLINE ON TELEVISION!!
