The students belonging to class 10 and class 12 affected by Covid-19 infection would be able to take up their practical examinations at another date. This was according to the CBSE or Central Board of Secondary Education. It must be noted that the examinations must be conducted before 11th of June 2021.

According to an official notification from CBSE, it was clear that if any candidate gets absent for practical examinations because of being Covid- 19 positive or if any of their family members like father, mother, brother, sister have been reported Covid-19 positive then the schools would conduct practical exams for such candidates at an appropriate time in consultation with the concerned regional officer but latest by 11th June 2021.

It is known that the CBSE has given permission to change the centres for both practical exams as well as for the theory examinations due to the prevailing Coronavirus pandemic. It is learnt that the schools have been allowed to start practical exams and activities like project and internal assessments on 1st March and this could go on till11th June 2021.

It must not be forgotten that CBSE earlier had asked the schools to immediately update the correct marks after completing practical exams and assessments etc.
