Tamil Nadu State Government - informs High Court decision to conduct arrears examinations!

It was presented to the High Court on behalf of the State Government of Tamil Nadu that the arrears examinations were cancelled only due to the prevailing Coronavirus pandemic. As the extent or impact of the coronavirus pandemic has abated, the State Government of Tami Nadu has now decided to conduct the arrears examinations now!
It was informed on behalf of the State Government of Tamil Nadu that the Universities have the authority to cancel the arrears examinations and only with due consideration of the welfare of the students, the decision to cancel the arrears examination was taken.
However, as the situation regarding the coronavirus pandemic spread has improved considerably, it was informed on behalf of the State Government of Tamil |Nadu that the decision to conduct the arrears examination was taken as per the High Court.
Subsequently, the judges have ordered that all the universities have to prepare and release the timetable for the arrears examinations before 4th February.
