Prospects for heavy rains in Tamil Nadu for the next 3 days!
The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for heavy rain in Tamil Nadu for the next 3 days.
As there is a cyclonic format prevailing in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the Bay Of Bengal section adjacent to Sri Lanka, the Chennai Meteorological Centre shared the detail that there are prospects for heavy rain in 1 or 2 places in 14 districts in the State of Tamil Nadu including Ramanathapuram, Thoothukkudi, Thanjavur, Nagappattinam, Thiruvarur, Mayiladuthurai, and Cuddalore.
It is further detailed that on tomorrow (Sunday, 10th January), there are prospects for heavy to very heavy rain 6 districts including Ramanathapuram & Sivagangai and prospects for heavy rain in another 9 districts including Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, and Nagappattinam and prospects for mid rain in the other districts.
