NEET TO BE CONDUCTED TOMORROW (13TH Sep) with severe restrictions!

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), a pass in which is mandatory for admission to the Graduate Medical Courses such as MBBS and BDS, is scheduled to be conducted throughout the country tomorrow (Sunday, 13th September).

In Tamil Nadu, 1.17 lakhs candidates have registered to participate in NEET.

As mentioned above, it is mandatory for the students who are completing +2 and wish to pursue graduate medical courses to write NEET and pass! Earlier, NEET was scheduled to be conducted on 3rd May. Due to the raging coronavirus pandemic, it had to be postponed.

In this scenario, NEET is all set now to be conducted tomorrow (Sunday, 13th September). A total of 16 Lakhs candidates have registered throughout the country.

Hal-tickets for these candidates have already been sent 2 weeks earlier.

1.17 Lakhs candidates have registered in Tamil Nadu. These applications were scrutinized and the candidates are allowed to write NEET in NEET Centres set up in 14 cities.

The guidelines to be followed by the candidates for NEET was released last week.

All the candidates will be checked for body thermal condition with the automatic Laser device.

Candidates observed to higher body thermal condition will be allowed to write in separate rooms. All candidates have to cleanse their hands with sanitizers and then only will be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Other Guidelines

  • Candidates MUST NOT ASSEMBLE AS A GATHERING IN THE NEET CENTRE.
  • Candidates MUST WEAR FACE MASKS.
  • Candidates MUST NOT TAKE ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICES/GADGETS.
  • Candidates must bring a passport size photo identical to the one sent while applying for fixing on the hall-ticket.
