A large number of COVID patients under treatment in Anna Nagar and Kodambakkam Regions!

As regards the Chennai Metro City in the present times, quite a large number of coronavirus infected patients are under treatment in the Anna Nagar and the Kodambakkam Regions.
As per the data on 6th September, the number of coronavirus-infected persons in the Chennai Metro City has gone up to 141654.
The number of people recovered – 127528. In this regard, the maximum number of recovered patients is from Anna Nagar – 14491,
As mentioned, a large number of coronavirus patients are being treated in the regions of Anna Nagar and Kodambakkam.
So far, 2862 persons have died. Teynampet is the region with the maximum number of deaths: 390.
At present, 11264 persons are under treatment in the Chennai Metro City.
1254 patients are under treatment in Anna Nagar region.
1221 are under treatment in Kodambakkam region.
Greater Chennai Corporation officials shared regarding the preventive measures taken against the coronavirus spread:
“We have increased the number of coronavirus test camps and the number of tests in these 2 regions. Further, the task of house-to-house checking has also been intensified. As such, the spread of the coronavirus will be brought under control.”
