A new Low-Pressure Zone formed over the Bay of Bengal! Prospects for rain!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has released a notification n the weather:
”A new low-pressure zone has formed over the Bay of Bengal. This may intensify and drift towards the Coastal Odisha as a depression zone. Due to this, there are prospects for medium rain in the coastal districts and the districts of Madurai, Virudhunagar, Salem, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Nilgiri, Chennai and Puducherry, and Karaikkal.
In the last 24 hours, a rainfall of 3 cm has been recorded in Karaikkudi, Labbaikkudikkadu, Devala, Thiruthani, and Thamaraippakkam.”
