100% pass has been announced in the 10th Standard!

This is the 1st time ever that 100% pass results are announced for the SSLC OR the 10th Standard Public Examination in the State of Tamil Nadu.

As the lockdown imposition was being continuously extended as a preventive measure against the spread of the raging coronavirus pandemic, the Public Examination for the 10th Standard Examinations (SSLC) could not be conducted. So, a decision was taken that marks for the non-conducted Public Examination for the 10th Standard would be computed based on the marks obtained in the quarterly and half-yearly examinations conducted by the respective schools.

In this scenario, the results of the 10th Standard Public Examinations were released today (Monday, 10th August).

With 4,71,759 boys and 4,68,070 girls in the 10th Standard for a total of 9,39,829 candidates, it was announced that all have passed.

The mark-lists can be accessed on the following websites: www.dge1.tn.nic.in or www.dge2.tn.nic.in

As the total marks have been computed based on the internally conducted quarterly and half-yearly examinations by the respective schools, there will not be any scope for re-totaling.

In case there are any complaints regarding the marks, the grievance address form can be obtained from the respective schools, filled up, and applied online through the respective schools` headmasters from 17th August to 25th August on the official Tamil Nadu State Government website - www.dge.tn.nic.in.

These appeals from the students will be reviewed and the results will be announced to the concerned applicants through the headmasters of their respective schools headmasters/principals.

The Directorate of the State Government Examination Board has announced that the students may obtain their temporary mark-sheets certificates from 17th August to 21st August through their respective schools of study through their headmasters/principals.
