Tirupathi Lord Venkateswara Temple: free tokens for Darshan issued canceled

The Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) has announced that the free tokens issued for Darshan of Lord Venkateswara are canceled from today (Tuesday, 21st July).
In the Tirupathi temple complex, a total of 158 persons including the Jeeyar (the temple’s religious head), Archakas (those who perform prayers), TTD staff, and the Security Employees have been confirmed with coronavirus infection.
Further, in the domain covering the Tirupathi local administration, 1700 persons have been affected by coronavirus infection.
In this situation, TTD has announced that the free tokens issued for the local devotees for Darshan of Lord Venkateswara have been stopped temporarily from today (Tuesday, 21st July).
At the same time, TTD has also announced that there are no issues fort eh Darshan of the devotees from other places and the online Darshan tickets can be procured as usual.
