Vaigasi Vishakam festival at Vadapalani Murugan Temple

The Vaigasi Vishakam festival is going on at the Vadapalani Murugan Temple from May 14th and will go on till June 4th. The Lord is taken out for a procession every morning and evening. The chariot rope holding ceremony will be held on the 21st of May. The 24th is the day of Vishakam, on which the Valli Devasena will take place at 8.00 am. Theerthavari Kalabhishekam will take place at 12 noon on the same day. The Tirukalyanam ceremony will take place at 6.00 pm. And the Mayil Vahanam Purppadu will be held at 10.00 pm.
Similarly, unique ceremonies and events will be held on each of the other days till the 4th of June.
