Subsequently, after 4 Phases of lockdown conditions, during the 5th Phase when the central and state governments when further relaxations were allowed, the arrangements commenced for the reintroduction of the normal routine allowing devotees for Darshan. Circles were drawn on the waiting corridors of the temple for the queues of the devotees in order to keep the social distancing.

The entire temple staff, priests, and the shop-owners/staff near the temple were tested for coronavirus infection. It was confirmed that no one was infected.

Subsequently, a decision was taken to undertake a trial by allowing the temple staff inside the temple premises and offer Darshan to the temple staff from Sunday (today, 14th June). The temple administration also decided to allow the devotees for Darshan from Monday, 15th June.

As such, they have decided to issue 300 tokes per day for the Rahu-Kethu Parihara Pooja. The officials also took the decision to sell the temple offerings (prasadams) at a lower scale. As such, only 50% of the lodging facilities will be permitted.

The officials confirmed further that the DEVOTEES MUST BRING THEIR AADHAR CARDS OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL IDENTITY PROOF.
