All devotees permitted for Darshan at Tirupathi temple from 11th June!

The Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) has announced that devotees will be permitted to have Darshan of Lord Venkateswara at the Tirupathi temple from 11th June.

In this regard, local resident devotees are to be permitted for Darshan of the Lord from 8th June. As per protocol, the employees of TTD and the retired employees of TTD will be permitted to have Darshan of the Lord on 8th & 9th June. The local resident devotees in Tirupathi-Thirumalai will be permitted to have Darshan of Lord Venkateswara on 10th June.

Devotees from all states will be permitted for the Darshan of the Lord Venkateswara from 11th June (Thursday).

However, persons over 65 years of age and below 10 years of age are NOT PERMITTED to have Darshan. Besides, the devotees from the Red Zones where the impact/intensity of the raging coronavirus is very high will NOT BE PERMITTED for Darshan.

Darshan of Lord Venkateswara will be permitted from 5.00 AM to 7.30 PM.

Permission has been granted to operate government buses and other vehicles on the Tirupathi mountain road/route from 5.00 AM to 8.00 PM.

VIP devotees, in lesser numbers, will be permitted Darshan of the Lord from 6.30 AM to 7.30 AM.

7000 devotees will be permitted to have Darshan of Lord Venkateswara in a single day. Earlier, before the coronavirus pandemic, it was normal for 60000 devotees to have Darshan on a single day!

500 devotees can have Darshan in a single hour. In this regard, DEVOTEES FROM STATES OTHER THAN ANDHRA MUST BRING E-PASS OBTAINED FROM THE RESPECTIVE STATE GOVERNMENTS.

All devotees will be subjected to body-thermal scanning at Albiri Toll-gate and then only permitted to go in for Darshan.

Devotees to Tirupathi MUST WEAR FACE MASKS AND HAND GLOVES.

Devotees with Rs. 300 tickets and the devotees having token with a given time-slot will be allowed to have Darshan of the Lord Venkateswara.

DEVOTEES AFFECTED WITH CORONAVIRUS INFECTION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR DARSHAN.

No permission is given to the devotees for tonsures (shaving of the head)! Only 3000 devotees will be allowed daily in the Alibiri pavement route. Alipiri pavement route will be open from 5.00 AM to 3.00 PM.
