Dreadful prospects: Chennai Metro City still under the impact of COVID-! Pandemic!

As 549 persons were confirmed coronavirus infected on a single day in Chennai Metro City, the total number of coronavirus infected has crossed 11000!
Over the last 24 hours only, 549 cases were confirmed with coronavirus infection in the Chennai Metro City! With this, the total number of infected persons has shot up to 1131!
In Chingleput district, 54 cases were confirmed with coronavirus infection on a single day. Thiruvallur had 37 cases, and Kanchipuram, 19.
In Thiruvannamalai, it was 41 cases confirmed with infection. In Ramanathapuram, it was 5 and in Ranippettai and Virudhunagar it was 4 each!
The good news is that out of total 37 districts, in 18 districts, there were no infections recorded!
In Chennai Metro City alone, there are 5911 patients under treatment! So far, 5135 persons have recovered, discharged, and returned home.
In the age group below 12 years of age, there are 1044 infected cases including 485 girls.
In the age group 13-60, there are 5206 women, 5 transgenders for a total of 14587 confirmed with infection.
In the age group above 60 years of age, including 555 elderly women, a total of 1451 cases are infected with the coronavirus.
In the Chennai Metro City government general hospitals, 4 males were dead whereas, in privates hospitals, 3 deaths have been reported including 1 woman.
In the preventive action against the raging coronavirus pandemic in the state of Tamil Nadu, the State Government has taken various initiatives to keep the spread under check! However, the raging coronavirus keep spreading with an increasing number of cases of infection each passing day!
