Current Location Latitude/Longitude: Super cyclone AMPHAN centered at 0730 hrs IST of today, the 20th May 2020, as an extremely severe cyclonic storm over northwest Bay of Bengal near lat. 19.58°N and long. 87.60°E.

- 225 km south of Digha.
- 380 km southwest of Khepupara (Bangladesh)
Current Intensity near Center: 170-180 kmph gusting to 200 kmph.
Observations from the Coast Wind-Speed: Paradip-102, Chandbali-74, Bhubaneshwar-37, Balasore-61, Puri-41, and Gopalpur-4 kmph.
Rainfall: Paradip-208, Chandbali-67, Bhubaneshwar-46.5, Balasore-56.5, Puri-87.0 and Gopalpur-8.6 mm.
