Temperature crosses 100 Degrees Celsius in 8 places!

The temperature crossed 100 Degrees Celsius in 8 places in Tamil Nadu State.

Overall, the temperature has been rising in most of the districts and the summer has been scorching, especially from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM.

Meanwhile, due to the cyclonic formats in the upper layers of the atmosphere, there was rain with thunder in many districts on Saturday and Sunday. This rain reduced the impact of the heat to a certain extent.

Subsequently, on Monday (26th April), the temperature crossed 100 Degrees Celsius in 8 places in Tamil Nadu State.

A maximum temperature of 102 Degrees Celsius was recorded in Karur Paramathi, Salem, and Trichy.

A temperature of 101 Degrees Celsius was recorded at Madurai Airport, Namakkal, and Palayamkottai. Thiruthani and Thondi recorded 100 Degrees Celsius. At the same time, it also rained in a few places in the state!

In this regard, the Chennai Meteorological Centre official shared:

Due to the convection rain phenomenon, there are prospects for medium rain on Tuesday and Wednesday (28th & 28th April). There are prospects high-speed winds blowing at 30 kmph to 40 kmph. As regards Chennai Metro City, it will remain cloudy. There are prospects for mild rain in a few places.”

There are prospects for a low-pressure zone to form in the area of South Andaman and the surrounding areas on 30th April.  There are strong prospects for the low-pressure zone to stabilize and transform into a depression zone  and may drift towards North and northwest, and drift from Andaman Nicobar Islands towards the Myanmar coastal area and may clear the coast from 30th April to 3rd May.”
