A nationwide photo and video story contest titled ’100 Farmers 100 Stories’ was launched by TAFE or Tractors and Farm Equipment dedicated to the farming community. This was launched as a part of its ‘Be a #Farm Dost initiative’. Established in the year 1960, TAFE is the third-largest tractor manufacturer in the world.
It is worthy to note that the main aim of this contest was to curate the top 100 inspiring stories of the farmers across India ad highlight the invisible farming community and agriculture as a profession. There are 2 main categories present in the contest like photo stories and video stories.
The prize worth up to Rs 2,20,000 would be given to the winners across categories. There would be awards and recognition given to the farmers featured in the winning entries. Various senior leaders and experts would be the jury members. There would not be any entry fee and the contest is open to all who are above 13 years of age. The contest is being run on digital media platforms and it is open till 29th February.
