Counseling sessions at Anna University to start on May 4th

As per a Supreme Court ruling, the admissions process for engineering colleges is set to start on June 21st and go on till July 30th. The ruling ordered classes to begin on August 1st.
Counseling sessions at Anna University will be held between May 4th and May 20th. The window coincides with the Std. 12 State Board Exam results which are expected to be announced between May 6th and 10th.
‘2.5 lakh applications available now, and that more would be printed if need arises. The applications will be issued at centres across the state, though the single window counselling process will take place only in Chennai’, said Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions Body V Rhymend Uthariaraj.
P. Kaliraj, Vice Chancellor at Anna University said, ;This year too there will be improvements to ensure better facilities for students and parents visiting the university campus for the process.’
