Ayudha Pooja Special buses from Poonamallee

For the occasion of the festival of Ayudha Pooja with 4 successive holidays, special buses started operating from Poonamallee from yesterday morning (Friday, 4th October).
Until now, special buses were operated only during the festive season of Pongal and Deepavali. However, as 4 successive holidays are scheduled for this year’s Ayudha Pooja, it was announced that special buses will be operated for Ayudha Pooja as well!
The registration for reservation commenced day-before-yesterday (Thursday, 3rd October).
The reservation for the special buses starting from Poonamallee to Kanchipuram, Krishnagiri, Thirupathur, Bengaluru, and Tirupathi commenced from yesterday (Friday, 4th October) morning. Special buses were operated. Because of this, the other Chennai Metro City buses which normally enter this bus terminus were to be parked outside!
