By these, we could get relief from bruises effectively

In our daily lives, it is common to get bruises and most of the times we know that we have bruises due to its intensity. Amazing information is there are also times when we are not aware of the bruises in our bodies and later think about the reason.

Other term that is used to refer bruise is ‘Contusion’. It must be noted that bruise is a type of hematoma of the tissue where the capillaries are damaged by the trauma resulting in localized internal bleeding that extravasate to the surrounding tissues. The bleeding under the skin could create black and blue marks. Many remedies are available at homes and these could be used to treat these bruises effectively.

Few home remedies are

By applying ice:
It is believed that by applying ice on the bruised area immediately then damage could be reduced, blood loss reduced, swelling could be treated. In the first step few ice cubes are taken and wrapped in a towel. Then this towel is placed on the affected area. By this, blood flow to the surrounding tissues would be reduced. Inflammation would be reduced well.

By applying heat:
The blood vessels could be relieved by heat after the formation of bruise. By this, there would be increased blood circulation and blood flow. It is worthy to note that the heat would help to mobilise the blood that is trapped after the formation of bruise. Tense muscles would get loosened and pain would be relieved. It is recommended to apply hot water bottle or a heating pad over the area to get relief.

By applying aloe vera:
The aloe vera could provide us many health benefits is known. The anti-inflammatory and healing properties of aloe vera play a huge role here. The blue and black marks of the bruise are avoided by applying aloe vera on the bruise. Be careful while using packed aloe vera gel and make sure it is a pure and without any additives.

Vitamin C intake:
Many skin products have vitamin C in them and the healing properties of vitamin C helps in treating and healing a wound. It could be applied tropically or consumed in the form of supplements also. For faster healing, intake of fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C is recommended.

Pineapple intake:
It is said that the bruises could be healed well by the bromelain present in the pineapples. This enzyme, bromelain has anti-inflammatory properties, could reduce swelling etc.
