Trichy and Perambalur gets good rains atlast from the clouds which moved from outskirts of Chennai. It will be another hot day for Vellore, Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram. And down south in Palyamkottai, Sivaganga, virudhunagar and Pudukottai regions.
Convective rains are possible again in the interiors, sivaganga, pudukottai which were missing in action so far might get rains today. As usual, thunderstorms will form near Dharmapuri, Salem and Namakkal belt. Chennai same case, sizzling hot day and rain clouds will again form close to Chennai and will move down and not into the city. Poondi Lake which is one of water supply lakes for chennai got 27 mm from yesterday evening storms. Other district might get rains too.
Chennai City recorded 40.5 C yesterday and might record 41+ today while Chennai AP recorded 41 C yesterday might record 42+ today. Tiruttani recorded 43 yesterday will record 44+ today. No respite of heat.
