Chennai Airport records 42.5 C while Vellore and Tiruttani remained hottest with 44.1 C and 44 C respectively

The temp in Chennai city rose semma fast compared to yesterday but that means sea breeze has to come early. So city which was close to the sea escaped with early sea breeze at 39.8 C while the western parts of city and outskirts of Chennai sizzled with Airport recording 42.5 C. The trend is set to continue in coming day with city getting early sea breeze and outskirts comparatively hotter as sea breeze will reach much later compared to the areas close to sea.
