Simple inaugural function of Ooty Summer Festival start

The summer season festival is celebrated every year in Nilgiri District. The district collector inaugurated the commencement event of the summer festival at Ooty.
As the elections Rules and Regulations are in vogue at present, it had been announced earlier that only the flower and vegetable exhibitions would be organised. Accordingly, the summer festival was inaugurated in a simple manner at the Ooty Botanical Gardens.
Huge crowds of visitors have been arriving to enjoy the summer festival!
