Rajni disturbed about Sanjay Dutt’s imprisonment

Superstar Rajnikanth has said that he is ‘disturbed’ by Sanjay Dutt’s verdict in the 1993 serial bomb blast case. In an official statement, the actor said, ‘I was very disturbed when I heard about my friend and a lovely person Sanjay Dutt`s verdict. The current support and appeal for his pardon is giving me hope. I pray to god that he gets remedy.’ The two met recently in Chennai while Mr. Dutt was shooting ‘Policegiri’.
The Supreme Court awarded Sanjay Dutt a 5 year sentence under the Arms Act. The actor has been found guilty of illegal possession of a pistol and a AK -56 rifle.
