9 places cross 100 Degrees heat in Tamil Nadu

On 4th April (9 Yesterday, Thursday), 9 places in Tamil Nadu crossed the ‘100 Degrees’ temperature mark. A maximum of 103 Degrees was recorded in Salem.

The impact of heat in this summer season has been intensifying with every passing day!  Especially, apart from the scorching heat, the blow of hot breeze has been tormenting the people in the interior Tamil Nadu.

9 places recorded a temperature of over 100 Degrees in Tamil Nadu. Salem recorded a maximum of 103 Degrees. Dharmapuri, Tiruthani, and Karur Paramathi recorded 102 Degrees. Madurai (airport) recorded 101 Degrees. Coimbatore, Namakkal, Trichy, and Vellore recorded 100 Degrees.

An official from the Chennai Meteorological Cenre shared in this regard:

‘A dry climate will prevail on Friday (today, 5th April) in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The temperature was shooting up by 2 to 3 degrees in a few places as compared to normal in the interior Tamil Nadu over the last few days. This trend will be arrested today.

The Chennai Metro City will remain partly cloudy in the early morning. A maximum temperature of 96 Degrees Fahrenheit may be recorded.’
