Temperature crosses 100 mark in 9 places

On Tuesday, 2nd April (yesterday), the temperature has crossed the ‘century’ or ‘100 Degrees mark’ in 9 places!

A maximum temperature of 105 Degrees was recorded in Karur Paramathi.

The intensity of heat has been unbearably high in several places in Tamil Nadu over the last few days. Especially, the interior Tamil Nadu has to bear this excessive heat along with the blowing hot breeze! Such conditions prevailed on Tuesday as well!

The temperature level crossed the ‘100 Degrees’ mark in 9 places on Tuesday, 2nd April. A maximum temperature of 105 Degrees was recorded at Karur Paramathi.

Dharmapuri, Madurai (airport), Palayamkottai, Salem, Trichy, Tiruthani, and Vellore recorded 102 Degrees.

An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre shared in this regard: ‘A dry climate will prevail in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Wednesday, 3rd April.  There are prospects of the temperature shooting up by 2 degrees to 4 Degrees in the interior Tamil Nadu.  

Especially, there are strong prospects of the temperature shooting up higher as compared to normal in the districts of Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Trichy, Karur, Dindigul, and Madurai.’
