Massive traffic jam today in chennai city

Students from over 20 colleges have started to protest in front of the Governor’s residence Raj Bhavan in Chennai. All roads leading to and from Raj Bhavan have been blocked and the police force has been placed in strategic places to avoid any untoward incidents. Due to the blocking of mount road, both the traffic heading towards Guindy and Airport were forced to take the Kathipara Junction route, which is already conjusted due to massive flyover constructions started an year ago.
This caused the traffic jam that choked the entire stretch from Saidapet till Kathipara Junction in Chennai City.
