These gluten free foods could be consumed by gluten allergy persons

These days we often come across the word ‘gluten’ and must be wondering what it means.

It is worthy to note that glutens are group of proteins and they are present in certain grains like wheat, barley, rye etc. By providing elasticity and moisture, gluten helps food to maintain the shape. Sometimes bread could get its chewy texture from the gluten present.

Normally gluten is safe and good for the people but there are few who have celiac disease or sensitive to gluten etc. These persons must totally avoid gluten foods.  It is now said that living in India is tremendous for those with Celiac disease because there are other alternate grains available and these could be consumed by the gluten sensitive persons.

There are few foods that could be consumed by those who have celiac disease or gluten sensitive,

Beetroot intake:

People with gluten allergy have lower haemoglobin in them. Hence it is necessary to take foods like beetroot that are loaded with iron content in it.

Spinach intake:

Persons having gluten based issues could take spinach soups, palak paneer, spinach pasta etc. This is said to be a great way of eating spinach for the kids.  It is known that spinach is found mostly in central and in western Asia and it belongs to family ‘Amaranthaceae’.

Intake of seeds:

There are few seeds like chia seeds, flax seeds etc that are highly beneficial for those who cannot consume gluten based foods due to allergies. Likewise intake of nuts having proteins is also superb.

Risotto intake:

How many know what Risotto is? It is Italian rice and is gluten free. Hence could be taken by those who are gluten sensitive.

Intake of jacket potato:

This could be easily available in the restaurant and could be made easily also. The point is this jacket potato has got zero contamination.
