Heat intensity will come down from tomorrow (9th March)

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that after the last 3 days of excessive heat intensity, the temperature is likely to come down slightly from tomorrow (Saturday, 9th March).

It has been a scorching summer over the last 3 days in Tamil Nadu. Most of the cities in the state have experienced a high temperature, more than 40 Degrees Celsius. This is higher by 4 to 6 Degrees Fahrenheit as compared to the normal average expected.

Heatwave and hot winds blowing will prevail in the north and northwest districts.

In this situation, the Chennai Meteorological Centre has announced that the intensity of heat will come down from tomorrow for a few days. As recorded at the evening yesterday (Thursday, 7th March), a maximum temperature of 41 Degrees Fahrenheit was recorded at Salem, Madurai Airport, and Karur Paramathi. A minimum temperature of 22 Degrees Fahrenheit was recorded at Kodaikkanal.
