TNPSC - applications can be sent for Group-1 exam before 31st Jan

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commision (TNPSC) has announced that the applications for Group-1 written examination must be sent online before 31st January.
The Group-1 preliminary written examination is scheduled to be conducted by TNPSC on 3rd March to fill up the 139 vacancies for the posts of Assistant collector, DSP, Deputy Registrars for Cooperative Societies, District Registrar, Rural Development Assistant Director, District Job opportunity Officer, and the district fire-fighting and rescue officer.
Graduates are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Age limit has been fixed at 32 for the open community cadre and at 37 for the reserved/quota candidates.
The online registration for this Group-1 examination commenced on 1st January. The candidates interested have to apply only online – TNPSC website - www.tnpsc.gov.in
As already announced by TNPSC, the last date for application is 31st January. The successful candidates in this preliminary Group-1 examination will be allowed to write the Main Group-1 examination. The number of candidates to write the Main examination will be on the basis of 50 candidates for each vacant post (50:1).
