Posted on: 02/Jan/2019 6:41:29 PM
Of the most popular North Indian lunch menu is Peas Pulao. This is in fact an integral part of most Indian households. This dish has a lot of different versions. Generally, as peas is  seasonal during winter, the recipe is commonly prepared in the months of November to February. Peas also has a very strong flavor and exclusive taste which makes the dish unique.

The accompaniment
Peas pulao can be served all alone, but it goes better with a spicy masala gravy as Chicken curry or Mutton Chukka or Tandoori Paneer or Cauliflower gravy. The subtle taste of the pulao when blended with a spicy curry will be a pakka combo to serve in your kids lunchbox.

Also, the dish goes well with dry starters like cauliflower 65 or chicken 65 or chicken lollipop. Go with whichever is your choice.

The exclusivity
There are a lot of spices and herbs tossed into the dish and hence it forms an aromatic lunchbox recipe. Furthermore, it is a quick-cook recipe and requires not much expertise. The overall cooking time is short too.
