State Government orders to issue Encumbrance Certificates within 3 days of application

The Head of the State Government Department of Property (and other) Registrations, Commissioner J. Kumarakurubaran has ordered that all registrars must scrutinize/check the applications received online within 3 days and issue the Encumbrance Certificate and most of the other related certificates within 3 days.
The facility for online services of processing issuing property registration commenced first. Subsequently, other related documents such as encumbrance certificate, copies of related documents etc., were also taken up online was taken up on 10th December.
This system is being implemented from today (Monday, 17th December).
On this occasion, the Commissioner J.Kumarakurubaran has ordered regarding the rules and regulations to be followed in this procedure.
For the applications received online for Encumbrance Certificates, replies/response must be made within 3 days.
All the computerizes registration bonds details must be issued within 3 days. Other documents must be issued within 4 days.
If a copy of the signed registration document is requested, it should be issued within 3 days.
The above procedure must be strictly followed while not including the date of registration on this count.
