These could harm your immune system greatly, so be careful

In our lives many of us would felt jealous about our relatives or friends being hale and healthy always. The fact is these persons would have a strong immune system in them and as a result of that many infections and diseases are avoided in them. Having strong immune system could lead to faster recovery and less severe symptoms also. It is believed that a healthy immune system is essential to protect our body from foreign invaders.

These below mentioned lifestyle choices could harm our immune system and they are

Lack of proper sleep:

Sleeping is very important in our lives is known. To have a strong immune system in us and superb health, sleeping for 7 to 8 hours is essential. Lack of sound sleep would decrease our immunity. It is said that during a good night’s sleep activities like repairing, balancing, rejuvenation, hormonal balance, detoxification etc takes place and these are important.

Not focussing on the right quality of protein intake:

This is also one lifestyle choice that could play an important role in deciding the strength of our immune system. For strong immunity, we must focus on the right quality of protein intake as proteins are building blocks of cells. While consuming egg it is important that egg yolk must not be separated from egg white. Consuming dal is important but at the same time we must not avoid intake of rice. Such combinations of food would help our body to get sufficient amounts of proteins.

Not washing the hands before we consume meals:

Many have the habit of taking meals without washing their hands. This could result in germs and pathogens entering the body and the immune system would become weak. Hence it is essential that we must wash both the hands before taking meals etc.

Constipation and acidity:

It is said that constipation and acidity are symptoms of compromised immunity in us. By consuming right kind of food and improving our lifestyle we could get stronger immune system in us.

Presence of stress:

Many of us have stress these days and this stress could be due to various reasons. When a person is under stress then the food and exercise would not give the much desired results. High cortisol level reduces the immune functions. Hence to have strong immunity and health it is important that we must work to reduce the stress in us.

Smoking, intake of alcohol etc:

These days many of us smoke and drink to get some relaxation. Our immunity could decrease when we smoke or drink excessively. The smoking and drinking alcohol could lead to cancer and death etc.

Lack of exercise:

It is necessary to be physically active and not over trained. Similar to exercise that could result in strong immunity, rest as well as recovery are also very important. The blood circulation gets boosted by physical exercise and immunity gets increased.

Consume these foods to improve immunity:

There are certain foods that could be consumed to improve our immunity. The foods like nuts, cruciferous vegetables, ononion, garlic, eggs etc are highly beneficial.
