Dos and Donts for candidates writing Group-2 preliminary test tomorrow

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the list of rules and regulations (dos and don’ts) for the candidates writing the Group-2 Preliminary Examinations scheduled tomorrow – Sunday, 11th November.
  • The candidates must carry their hall tickets. Otherwise, they will not be allowed in.
  • In case the photo or sign in the hall ticket is not tallying, the candidates have to carry an alternative document with the signature of the official.
  • The candidates must enter the examination hall before 9.00 AM
  • The candidates must occupy the seat in the examination hall number as intimated.
  • The candidates have to carry the hall ticket and a blue or black ball-point pen.
  • OMR answer sheets must be filled up either with blue or black ball-point pen only.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to carry electronic gaeget/device into the examination hall.
  • The candidates have to check and verify whether the name, photo, and the registration number are correct.
  • Before commencing to answer, the candidates need to fill their registration number.
  • The question papers will be distributed 10 minutes before the starting time of the examination
  • The question paper may not be exchanged after 10.00 AM.
  • Even if a wrong registration number is entered in the OMR, the candidates will not be issued a new question paper.
  • The candidates need to check whether the General Tamil or General English given to them is correct as per their selection.
  • The candidates have to answer only in the OMR answer sheets given to them.
  • Candidates need to check whether all the pages are available in the question paper.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 10.00 AM.
  • No other details apart from the answers must be written in the answer sheets. In case this is found, the concerned answer sheet will be deemed invalid.
  • Only 1 answer must be given to each question.
  • The candidates must not mark the answers in their question papers.
  • Once in the examination hall, the candidates will not be allowed to get out until the conclusion time of the examination.
  • In case illegal activities such as copying or violating the rules and regulations are detected, criminal action will be taken on the concerned candidate.
