Southwest monsoon rainy season comes to a close in 5 days

The weather analysis reports observe that the southwest monsoon season will conclude on 21st October. The southwest monsoon rainy season commenced on 29th May. This monsoon rainy season had concluded in the northern states by the month of September itself.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre had estimated that the Northeast monsoon rainy season was likely to commence on 8th October. However, at this period, the southwest monsoon rainy season intensified again thereby forming 2 cyclones – Titli over the Arabian Sea and Luban over the Bay of Bengal.
Presently, It has been raining only in the regions of the Western Ghats Mountain range in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
