Due to this as well as the effect of the phenomenon of thermal convection, there are prospects of widespread medium rain in the next 2 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, There are prospects of heavy rains in 1 or 2 places as well.
Chennai Metro and suburbs would generally remain cloudy. There are prospects of mild rain in a few places.
