Soon the passengers at Chennai airport would feel awesome and happy

The news that Chennai airport would have retail, cinema multiplex along with multi-level car parking has been the topic of discussion for many now. For building multi-level car parking and commercial facilities in Chennai airport, 4.25 acres of land has been demarcated in 2 parcels. This was confirmed by none other than the airport director, Mr. G. Chandramouli. The passengers flying from and landing at the Chennai airport would be benefited by these facilities.
On either flank of the airport metro station between the metro viaduct and airport terminal, the parcels are located. This multi-level parking would provide solution to the parking issues at the Chennai airport and nearly 2000 vehicles could be accommodated.
It is superb to mention here that the MLCP or multi-level car parking would also have retail and cinema multiplex of approximately 2,38,100 sq ft area with food and beverage component. MLCP would also have 35,678 sq ft area of transit hotel facility. The needs of arriving and departing passengers would be taken care by the retail occupancy. The retail occupancy would play its role also as a community mall or multiplex for the residential localities situated in the vicinity of the airport complex. Many banks and ATMs would also be making their presence felt in the commercial area.
