Light rain and cloudy skies in Chennai in this week

According to the Regional Meteorological Centre it is now clear that in this week in the Chennai city there would be light rains and skies would be cloudy. It is well known that there were no rains in Chennai in the last 2 days. Cloudy skies have been forecasted and there would be possibility of thunder clouds in the evening or in the night in the next 24 hours. The meteorological centre has predicted light rains in some places in the evening or in the night. On Tuesday also there would be similar weather conditions in Chennai city.
The weather on Sunday, 19th August in Chennai city was dry and the maximum temperature recorded was 36 degree Celsius. The low pressure in the northern Bay of Bengal has grabbed the eyeballs now. It is now said that convective clouds would be bringing rains due to the low pressure on northern Bay of Bengal. According to the predictions of met office, the city of Chennai would become warmer if it does not rain in Chennai. The maximum temperature would be 36 degree Celsius and minimum temperature would be 27 degree Celsius. At the isolated locations in the state of TN, the met has forecasted thunder showers. On Sunday there was 3cm to 7cm of rains in places like Coimbatore, Theni, Nilgris, Tirunelveli etc.
In the last week in Chennai city, the weather was pleasant because of mild to intense rains in the afternoons and nights. The reason was due to heavy rains in Kerala state plus due to low pressure over Odisha and some parts of Andhra Pradesh.
