NET results released

The results of the NET (National Eligibility Test) for the posts of Assistant Professors have been released. A pass in NET, conducted by CBSE (The Central Board of Secondary Education) is mandatory for recruitment for the posts of Assistant Professors in universities and colleges.
NET for the current year was conducted on 8th July. 8.59 Lakhs candidates wrote NET.
CBSE released the results of the above NET yesterday (Tuesday, 31st July).
52000 candidates have passed the NET and 3900 candidates have qualified to get the JRF Research of UGC – University Grants Commission, financial assistance.
