8th Annual Physiotherapists conference

Bangalore physiotherapists network has organised 8th annual Physiotherapists conference on 29th July 2018, at Hotel Conrad, Ulsoor between 9 am and 5.30 pm.

This conference was for upgrading the knowledge with respect to  the latest techniques and procedures in the field of physiotherapy. 

Nationally and internationally recognised faculties gave their valuable insights into the development and betterment of the profession. 

The theme of the conference LET US BE ACTIVE, EVERY BODY, EVERY DAY AND EVERY WHERE  stressed the need to be physically active. As we know physical activity is a direct indication of good heath, both physically and psychologically.

Physiotherapy is the only profession which deals with keeping people moving so that long terms effects of immobility, due to disease, is negated. Physiotherapy doctors  as movement scientists are a valuable cog in the wheel in the the entire spectrum of health sciences.

This conference also had trade exhibition where reputed national and international physiotherapy equipment manufactures show cased the latest equipment available. 

The chief guest for the conference is Mr. Sachidananda, Hon. Vice chancellor of The Rajiv Gandhi University of health Sciences said Bangalore is the capital of Physiotherapists. He went on to appreciate our Bangalore Physiotherapists Network and importance of networking which is the need of the hour. He also said he would look into proactively an facilitate Physiotherapy council formation.

Our guest of Honour is Smt. Soumya Reddy MLA Jayanagar said she would stand by the cause of Physiotherapists and would help in smooth passing of  Physiotherapy council bill and its discussion in assembly The inauguration function was held at 9:00 am.
