Counselling for engineering courses resumes today (16th July)

The counselling for the engineering courses, organized by Anna University, resumes today (Monday, 16th July) after a week break.
The admission for the engineering courses of B. E. and B. Tech. in the engineering colleges affiliated to Anna University is conducted in 2 processes – single-window student admission and online counselling. In the 1st category, the single-window counselling and admission for the special category candidates were conducted during the 1st week of July.
Presently, after a week’s gap, the counselling is slated to resume today (16th July). In this, the 2nd Phase of counselling for the heirs of ex-military personnel is being conducted. There are 76 vacant seats to be filled up. Tomorrow’s (Tuesday, 17th July) counselling session is for the category of sports specialists. In this, 235 seats are to be filled up.
Subsequently, the counselling for the candidates with Industrial Technology is scheduled to be conducted from 18th July to 20th July. 1601 candidates have qualified to participate in this session.
