Conductor-less buses on Chennai-Kanchipuram route

Five super-fast buses without a conductor, known as End-to-end buses, are being operated between Chennai and Kanchipuram from yesterday.
550 new buses were handed over to the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporations last week. Apart from the 40 buses allotted to the Express Transport Corporation, the balance 519 buses will be operated in 5 categories, to be known as 1-to-1, point-to-point, bypass rider, city express, and end-to-end, from 5th July.
Accordingly, 5 buses without conductors, under the category end-to-end, are being operated in the route Chennai-Kanchipuram from yesterday (12th July). As these buses stop only at some specific bus tops, the destination is reached faster and on time.
This new service has met with huge popularity. However, the passengers are somewhat shocked to find no conductor in the bus,
