Jackpot for Annamalai University staff

The government has ordered that the salary increase must be implemented immediately as per the 7th Wages Revision Committee’s recommendations to the working staff other than the teaching staff of Annamalai University.
The excess teaching staff and other staff of over 5000 persons working in Annamalai University have been transferred to various other departments of the state government. Approval was granted during the last syndicate meeting of Annamalai University to increase the salary of above employees as per the 7th Wages Revision Committee’s recommendations.
Subsequently, the Department of Higher Education has ordered that the salary of the non-teachings staff of Annamalai University must be increased immediately.
