Merit list for engineering courses to be released in 5 days

The merit or rank list of the candidates who had applied for admission to the engineering courses offered by Anna University is set to be released in 5 days.
The counselling for admission to the B. E., B. Tech., and B. Arch courses offered by the joint and affiliated colleges of Anna University is conduced on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State government.
From this academic year, the counselling is being conducted online. The online application and registration for this purpose was in progress from May to 2nd June. 1.60 Lakhs candidates have applied. The document/certificate verification activity for this was commenced on 8th June and concluded on 17th June.
In this situation, the task of entering the marks of the candidates is being taken up from today. The Anna University Counselling Committee has received the mark details of the candidates directly from the state government examination board.
The marks details are entered as per the candidate registration number. This activity will be continued for 3 days. Subsequently, the tank or merit list will be prepared based on the marks. Anna University officials have informd that all these activities will be completed in 5 days and th merit or rank list will be released before 25th June.
When the rank or merit list is released, the counselling dates will also be announced.
