Heat intensity will come down in Chennai

There are prospects of rain in the Western Ghat Region till today afternoon (Tuesday, 12th June). The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the intensity of summer heat will come down in the Chennai Metro City.
The Southwest monsoon rainy season has intensified in the coastal western states of Kerala and Karnataka and Maharashtra, and the north-eastern states of Odisha and West Bengal.
The officials of Chennai Meteorological Centre shared the information regarding today’s weather that there would be heavy rains till the afternoon today (12th June) in the Western Ghat adjacent districts of Coimbatore, Nilgiri, Theni, Dindigul, and Tirunelveli and the regions adjacent to Kerala.
Chennai will remain cloudy. The intensity of heat will be down with a maximum temperature of 38 Degrees Celsius. There are prospects of mild rain in a few places.
